Help Keep the Tradition Alive: Support the Shamrock Lakes Fireworks Show

McGREGOR, Minn. – Every year, families, friends, and visitors gather at Shamrock Lakes to celebrate Independence Day with one of the area’s favorite traditions...a spectacular fireworks display over the Big Sandy Lake.

What many people don’t realize is that this event is not funded by tax dollars or a city budget. The Shamrock Lakes fireworks show is made possible almost entirely through donations from local residents, businesses, and community supporters.

Each year, the cost of the fireworks continues to rise, and while generous donations help, they often don’t cover the full expense. The remaining costs are absorbed by the volunteers who organize the event because they believe this tradition is worth preserving for everyone to enjoy.

If you and your family look forward to the fireworks each year, please consider making a contribution. Every donation, large or small, helps ensure the show can continue for years to come.

Donations can be made securely through our nonprofit fundraising page at ShamrockLakesFireworks.com.
Local businesses are also invited to become sponsors. Sponsorships not only help fund the event but also demonstrate a commitment to supporting one of our community’s most cherished traditions.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, volunteered, or sponsored the fireworks in the past. Your generosity makes this celebration possible.
