About Floodwood Fair

The Floodwood Fair brings the community together for a fun-filled weekend celebrating creativity, agriculture, and small-town tradition. The fair kicks off with a Rendezvous and Encampment, setting the tone at the Fairgrounds and continuing throughout the weekend with activity and excitement for all ages.


Visitors explore a wide variety of daily events, including a garden bus tour, bee demonstration, ceramics demonstration, butterfly exhibit, petting zoo, live music, and bingo. There is always something happening, making it easy for families and friends to spend the entire day enjoying the fairgrounds. The festivities wrap up with a parade that draws spectators from near and far and provides a lively finale to the celebration.


Inside the exhibit buildings, community members proudly display their talents and hard work. Artwork, photography, flowers, garden produce, baked goods, canned items, and needlework are showcased after being judged on the opening day. These exhibits highlight the creativity, skill, and dedication of local residents.


Even with summer temperatures climbing into the upper 80s, fairgoers still fill the grounds, proving that nothing slows the spirit of the Floodwood Fair. With its welcoming atmosphere, diverse activities, and strong community pride, the Floodwood Fair continues to be a favorite summer tradition for all ages.
