About Simek's Farm

Simek’s Farm in Kelsey, Minnesota is a fourth-generation family farm proudly celebrating 100 years of farming, family, and tradition. Founded in 1925 by Stanley and Bessie Simek, the farm has grown through decades of hard work, perseverance, and a deep love for the land. What began as a small homestead has been carefully built into a thriving operation that continues to be stewarded by multiple generations of the Simek family.


Today, Simek’s Farm is best known as a beloved fall destination for families across the region. Each autumn, visitors are invited to experience the sights and sounds of harvest season with a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides, farm animals, fresh produce, and a welcoming gift shop housed in a rustic barn. Live music from noon to 3 p.m. each day adds to the relaxed, festive atmosphere.


The farm remains active year-round, with Angus beef cattle, hay production, and ongoing care of the land. Open Saturdays and Sundays from September 20 through October 26, plus MEA dates, Simek’s Farm blends rich history with hands-on fun—creating meaningful memories while honoring a century of farming values rooted in hard work and family.
