About McGregor Area Food Shelf

Welcome to the McGregor Area Food Shelf, a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families in the McGregor community. Our mission is simple yet impactful—helping ensure that no one in our area goes without access to nutritious food. We are open the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.

The heart of our organization is our incredible team of volunteers. From retirees and students to working individuals and families, our volunteers bring compassion, energy, and a shared commitment to serving others. They play a vital role in every aspect of the food shelf, from organizing donations to assisting clients, making it possible for us to operate and serve the community effectively.

We welcome community members to get involved through open hours or special events, offering a rewarding opportunity to give back while building meaningful connections. Whether you’re volunteering your time or seeking assistance, you’ll find a supportive and caring environment.

The McGregor Area Food Shelf is coordinated by Lynne Jacobs, who is available to assist with questions or emergency needs. Together, we are making a difference—one neighbor at a time.
