About MACC

The McGregor Area Clothing Closet (MACC) proudly celebrates 30 years of serving the McGregor community with compassion, generosity, and volunteer spirit. Since its founding, MACC has remained committed to providing affordable clothing and household items while giving back in meaningful ways to local organizations and families.

MACC offers gently used—and sometimes brand-new—clothing for all ages, along with shoes, purses, jewelry, and household linens. Most items are priced between $1 and $2, with winter coats and jackets available for just $3 to $4. Donations are accepted year-round and carefully sorted by volunteers to ensure the best seasonal items are available in the store. Items not suited for resale are passed along to the DAV, helping raise funds for disabled veterans.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run entirely by volunteers, all proceeds stay local. Each year, MACC awards scholarships to graduating McGregor students and supports community organizations including the McGregor Area Food Shelf, McGregor Schools, the public library, and youth programs.

Located in the Angels Building at 7 South Maddy Street, MACC is open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For 30 years and counting, MACC continues to make a difference—one donation, one purchase, and one act of kindness at a time.
