Lake Area Therapy provides personalized, patient-centered care focused on helping individuals meet and exceed their physical therapy and wellness goals. As a small, locally owned practice, Lake Area Therapy is deeply committed to supporting the health and activity of the local community. The clinic believes that rural health care should remain specialized and accessible, allowing patients to receive high-quality services close to home without the burden of traveling long distances. Physical therapy services begin with a comprehensive 60-minute initial evaluation to develop an individualized treatment plan. This plan may include therapeutic exercises, hands-on manual techniques, and appropriate modalities, followed by 30–40 minute follow-up appointments designed to support progress and functional recovery. Lake Area Therapy also provides occupational therapy services at both the Cromwell and Moose Lake clinic locations, as well as in-home services under Part B. Speech therapy services are offered to the Cromwell School District, supporting communication and developmental needs within the community. Massage therapy is available at the Moose Lake location and is provided by licensed massage therapists Steffany Drilling, MT, and Courtney Erickson. Appointments are available in 15, 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions to promote relaxation, recovery, and overall wellness.
